November 2025

I met Ed and Marge Barlow in 1967 when I moved to Connecticut for a teaching job. Ed welcomed me to the area and was always there when I had questions or needed help in a specific area. He was a friend to many in all his career paths and will be truly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you

I\'m so very sorry for your loss. Edward was a lovely gentleman. I used to see him several years ago in the local grocery store and after performances he attended for Olivia. He was a proud grandfather and a loving dad. Heartfelt prayers for his family ...

Ed,, You were always a true gentleman who led with unbiased kindness and a heart for the marginalized. I will always be in gratitude for having known

I am deeply saddened to hear of Ed’s passing. I knew him through Asylum Hill Congregational Church, where his gentle spirit and steady conviction were always evident. He carried himself with a quiet strength and a genuine kindness that touched everyone around him. I am grateful to have known him.

Ed and I shared brief times together with our mutual friends at Asylum Hill Congregational Church, a sanctuary and holy place for both of us. Although our crossed paths were few, I knew how gracious, caring, bright and honorable this man was and why he was so endeared to family and friends!
